Please note that because the Township provides an annual financial contribution to the Bloomsburg Public Library, located at 225 Market Street, membership is free of charge for all Township residents. The Library website can be accessed through the Links page on this site.
In addition, the County provides a free public library, the Columbia County Traveling Library, which has a walk-in location at 702 Sawmill Road, Suite 101. This Library website can be accessed through the Links page on this site.
The Township does not have a curbside Christmas tree removal program. Township residents will have the option to take their tree to the Bloomsburg Compost Site, located on Sands Street, in January. The hours are 8 a.m.- 3 p.m. Monday through Friday in January for tree drop offs. All items, including tinsel, must be removed from the tree.
The Township building is open. However, we are encouraging residents to limit their in-person visits. If you have a question, please call 570-784-9114, or email email@example.com. If you feel you must meet with a Township employee in person, please call to make an appointment.
Sewer Bill Payments: Please pay by using the drop box in the municipal building vestibule or by mail.
Police Station: PLEASE CALL 911 IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY. The Police Station is located at 2697 Columbia Blvd. Officers can be reached for non-emergency matters at 570-387-1929.
Tax Payments: Tax payments must be paid to the address on your bill, 2626 Old Berwick Road. If you mail your payment and need a receipt, enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope. The Tax Collector’s office hours are listed on the tax bill.

As of January 1, 2014, recycling is mandatory in Scott Township. The Ordinance requires all residents to contract with a registered authorized collector for removal of garbage and recycling.
