Welcome to Scott Township Online.
Columbia County, Pennsylvania
CURBSIDE LEAF COLLECTION will begin Monday, October 20, and continue through Wednesday, November 26. The leaf truck has a set rotation throughout the Township, but we cannot guarantee any specific day of the week for your area. The frequency of collection depends on the number of properties requiring pickup and the amount of leaves at each property. Thank you for your patience.
WE REQUEST THE FOLLOWING:
- Arrange leaves in a row rather than a large pile, as close to the road as possible.
- Remove all stones, branches, and other foreign objects from leaves. They damage blades and bearings and could halt the leave collection program.
- Bags of leaves must be left open for identification.
IN ADDITION TO CURBSIDE REMOVAL, residents may bring leaves to the deposit area designated for "Leaves and Grass Clippings" near the ash pile behind the municipal building.
2014 MANDATORY RECYCLING
As of January 1, 2014, recycling is mandatory in Scott Township. The Ordinance requires all residents to contract with a registered authorized collector for removal of garbage and recycling. Please visit the following link for a list of registered authorized collectors:
